Rose Couet-Pascoe
This is Rose's first year as the lead teacher in our aftercare program. While Rose is a relatively new employee to EEC, she is a familiar face on campus! She is a lead organizer of Kids Camp, directs the Teen Leadership Institute, and is the Assistant Director of Children’s Ministry for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix.
Working in education since 2015, Rose has focused her professional life on creating environments that allow children to learn and grow with dignity, confidence, and joy. Her roles have included school librarian, arts instructor, substitute teacher, parent trainer, conflict coach, curriculum developer, staff trainer, and youth advisor. She has received national recognition for her work on Peaceful Places for Young Children. Rose is passionate about helping kids understand and give name to their emotions and needs so they can be a good community member during the smallest conflict or the biggest crisis.
Raised in Arizona since childhood, Rose isn't quite sure what folks do when it snows. She loves singing, reading, creating, and laughing, and makes her home in Phoenix with her spouse, their dog, lots of art supplies and a few hundred books.
